One of 160 copies of the second impression. Some rubbing and wear to extremities. Trace of small label at foot of upper cover. Free endpapers typically age discoloured, title and first leaf of text lightly browned. Previous owner's bookplate on front pastedown. The first printing was largely destroyed by fire at the binders, necessitating this second issue. |
